J. Brooks Peacock

John Brooks Peacock is the founder and principal of Peacock CPA Worx. Brooks earned a Master’s in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 1994, with 30 years of experience as a licensed CPA, and working in positions such as assistant corporate controller and chief financial officer (CFO). Brooks has taught courses in accounting at Oregon State University, Chemeketa Community College, University of Phoenix, and Utah Valley University for over 25 years. His expertise spans personal and corporate taxes, financial planning, business advisory services, and taxpayer representation before the IRS and state revenue . Brooks stays up-to-date on the latest tax codes and regulations to best serve his clients. When he is not in the office, you can find Brooks spending time with his wife, six children, and five grandchildren, or cheering on the Angels and the Cougars.

Brooklynn Jones

Brooklynn Peacock Jones is our bookkeeper and tax preparer with three years of experience in accounting and finance. She joined Peacock CPA Worx in 2022 after receiving certificates in accounting and tax preparation from Chemeketa Community College in 2021. Brooklynn also earned an Associate of Science in General Studies at Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2017, where she also studied Music Education for two years. Brooklynn specializes in small business accounting and tax preparation for individuals. She is an Oregon native who enjoys giving back to her local community. Outside the office, Brooklynn is a mother of two children, and she enjoys gardening and playing the French horn and cello in local community ensembles. Brooklynn’s meticulous work and dedication to client success make her a key team member.
